RénosVue is a visual documentation service for renovations, intended for contractors and homeowners, mainly in Quebec. This policy applies to the public site and, in time, to the application.
Information collected
On this site, we may collect your email, your role (contractor or homeowner) and the content of a contact message, only if you provide them.
When the application is in service, an account may also include job-site photos, project metadata, and billing information processed by a payment provider.
Use
- Add you to the trial list and write to you at launch.
- Reply to a contact request.
- Later: produce the requested report, provide the service, security and billing.
We do not use your job-site photos for advertising. Learning cases, if any, will be anonymized, kept separate from private files, and validated before any educational use.
Retention and location
Information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described, then deleted or anonymized. Hosting may involve providers in Canada or abroad. We will seek suitable contractual measures, including with regard to Quebec’s Law 25.
Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your information, subject to exceptions provided by law. To exercise these rights: [email protected].
Photos and location
Job-site photos may contain metadata. The product aims to strip location data before storage when it is not needed. Do not photograph people without their consent, or identity documents.
Minors
The service is not intended for people under 14.
Changes
This policy will be updated before the paid application launches. The date at the top of the page is authoritative.
